CalAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations to CalAA are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted
by IRS. CalAA's Federal Tax ID number is 03-0426021.
CalAA has been engaged in producing, presenting and preserving the best in Performing Arts since April 2002. Our
presentations include full length plays, Ekaankikaas, invited plays from India, theme-based musical programs,
screening of movies, informal Q&A sessions with Playwrights, Authors, Poets and Directors, TV programs,
AudioBooks, and enabling Marathi books on Internet. All the net proceeds from our programs are utilized for archival
of outstanding plays in India, producing documentaries and conducting Ekaankikaa Competitions and Short Film
Competitions. We have so far archived "Soorya Paahilelaa MaaNoos" (starring Shriram Lagoo) and "Aanand
Owaree" (starring Kishor Kadam), produced documentaries on Playwrights Vijay Tendulkar and Satish Alekar. We
are currently working on documentary on Playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar. We have also held West Coast Ekaankikaa
Competition and Short Film Competition.
